Glimmerfly Diamond Pendant Set in 14K White Gold

The butterfly has always been a motif that carries more than its shape. It is a symbol that communicates transformation and lightness in a way that feels personal rather than generic, which is exactly why we were careful about how we approached it in the GlimmerFly set. We did not want a butterfly that was simply decorative. We wanted one that would feel like it had been chosen deliberately by the person wearing it.

Working in 14K white gold was an elegant move for a butterfly design. The wing forms in the pendant, earrings and ring are each worked to hold their diamonds in a spread that follows the natural asymmetry of a butterfly without losing legibility as a shape at the scale of fine jewelry. The pendant carries 23 diamonds. The earrings hold 46, one pair of wings on each ear. The ring closes the set with 23 diamonds in a version of the motif that sits low and clean on the finger.

The total diamond weight across the set is genuine rather than gestural. 0.164 carats in the pendant, 0.338 in the earrings and 0.247 in the ring means that each piece has stones with enough presence to catch light and hold it. The yellow gold keeps everything warm and cohesive, so the set reads as considered when worn together and independent when worn as individual pieces.
