Bentley Sea God Warriors GMT Automatic Watch – Black Dial, Black & Green Ceramic Bezel, Gold Two-Tone Stainless Steel

The decision to pair a black and green ceramic bezel with a gold two-tone case was not an obvious one, and we knew that from the start. Green and gold are not an easy combination to get right. Too much warmth in the gold and the green reads as an afterthought. Too much cool in the green and the gold feels misplaced. Getting the balance right across the 40.3mm case and the 47.5mm overall length took longer than most decisions in this range, and we think that time shows in the finished piece.

What we arrived at is a watch that carries weight without announcing it. The black dial behind the sapphire crystal is what anchors the whole design. Without it, the bezel and case would compete. With it, every element falls into a hierarchy that works visually from across a room and holds up under closer examination. We sent this watch to Germany because the finishing standard for the two-tone case at that level of specification is not something we were willing to compromise on.

The NH34 automatic movement inside powers the watch through your own motion, day after day, without interruption. The GMT function was built into this version for the same reason it features across the whole Sea God Warriors range. The people who wear our watches move between time zones regularly, and a watch that cannot keep up with that reality is not a watch worth making. Adjusting the GMT hand does not stop the watch or disturb the other hands.

This particular combination, black and green ceramic on gold two-tone steel, is not one you will find everywhere. We designed it for the person who puts thought into what they choose to wear and expects that thought to be matched on the other side. The care we put into this watch is visible in every detail if you know where to look.
