Bentley Sea God Warriors GMT Automatic Watch – Black Dial, Black & Green Ceramic Bezel, Gold Tone Stainless Steel

The combination of black and green in this bezel started as a small design sketch and became something we kept coming back to as we developed the Sea God Warriors range. Green carries a weight that blue does not quite match when it is placed against a dark dial. It holds the eye longer. When we surrounded the 40.3mm gold-tone stainless steel case with this two-color ceramic bezel, the result was something we knew we had to bring to market properly.

We chose gold-tone stainless steel for the case because it adds warmth to what could otherwise feel like a cold or heavy piece. The combination of that warm metal and the earthy richness of the green ceramic bezel creates a watch that feels considered and individual without being loud. The sapphire crystal over the black dial keeps the whole face clean and readable under virtually any lighting condition.

Functionality was never going to be sacrificed in this design. The GMT function built into the NH34 automatic movement was chosen specifically because our community travels frequently and internationally. Having a live second time zone on your wrist changes the way you think about being in two places at once, mentally and logistically. The self-winding mechanism means the watch stays accurate as long as you are wearing it, with no intervention required.

We put this one together for people who have a clear sense of their own style. It is not a watch that calls for attention the way a brightly finished piece might, but the person across from you will notice it. The detail is there for those who look closely, and we think that is exactly the right way to wear something well-made.
